Hey, I am Hugo
I am a film director and multimedia producer working across a diverse range of storytelling formats (short social media videos, documentary, short films). My work often circles around themes of resistance and joy in action, communities at the frontline of climate change. Blending documentary filmmaking and digital storytelling, I craft projects that connect peoples across continents in their fight against the fossil fuel industry. EACOP: a crude reality, This is Fracking, The Renewable Charge and Dear Ancestors – have been featured at international festivals and in partnership with climate justice organizations. Through community-based storytelling, I want to inspire action and reimagine our shared future powered by the sun, the wind and the people.
